TimeIsMoney - Meeting Cost Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

Have you ever sat in a meeting and wondered just how much it is costing with all these people sitting around listening so someone drone on about something you have no interest in? Yes, Im sure you have. Now, how do you make people hurry up and stop people from wasting valuable time? Well, this App can help. All you have to do is specify how many are in the meeting and what the average hourly rate is for the people and then start the timer. Just watch those dollars, pounds, euros, etc mount up during the meeting. It is quite powerful visual aid to see that first 100 dollars, etc tick past and the meeting is only just started. Some people just cannot understand how much their waffling on is costing.

But you can use the App for other purposes. The first person I showed the App to went Oh, I can use it to time how much money my co-workers cigarette break costs. I had not though of that but Yes you can.

It is quick and easy to use.

Select the Setup button and specify the number of people and the average hourly rate. Select Back to return to the main page.

Select Start Timer and the App starts to show the cost and time.

If you need to you can use Pause to stop the timer. Press Pause again to restart the timer.

Select Stop Timer and that is it the final cost of the meeting is shown. Shocking how large a number it can be.

You can even quit the App do other things and as long as the timer was running when you quit then the time and costs will still be mounting up. So you may have to take a call or use another App just dont stop the timer before quitting the App, do whatever you need to do and start the App and the timer will still be running and the costs mounting up.
